Great community, great place to live and largest heated saltwater pool in town!

I would highly recommend against anyone living here. 5 months into our lease the HOA is illegally trying to take away our covered parking and outdoor storage, which is in our written rental agreement. Every attempt I’ve made to talk with the HOA has been met with extremely poor communication and hostility. The assistant manager Ally was dismissive, rude, and provided both incorrect information and poor communication when I’ve tried to get a proper explanation about the situation. If you are looking for somewhere to live… I would do everything in your power to avoid this place

I have lived here in PLTC for 7 years. The management of the complex by Jorge and Ally has been frustrating at best. They frequently ignore known issues, disregard laws and regulation for convenience, and participate in gossip driven bias. They fail repeatedly to notify units of water shut offs or personnel climbing onto the roof by your bedroom window. There is a grave need for accountability and training reform. At face value it is a beautiful green complex with a pool, jacuzzi, gym, grills, and obviously tennis courts. The community is in a great location for access to the beach and San Diego community, but staying here calls for persistence and patience.

As a licensed architect I really enjoy the classic 60’s modernism and simplicity of the design. The residents are very kind and care about the community. My favorite part is the heated saltwater pool, the spa and the large trees that you don’t get with new developments.

Worst run housing complex in the area. It used to be nice when we first moved here but a few years later the current management has let it go and it shows. The rest of the area is well painted and the grass and shrubs maintained. They seem to care about the most frivolous things yet “the board” does hardly anything about safety and security but to tell you to, “not keep anything valuable on your patio” after having BBQs and other normal items that go in outdoor areas stolen. If you’re looking for a somewhere to live, you might want to consider elsewhere.
