I called Plaza Golf to inquire about getting a replacement 8-iron built. My current Miura set was meticulously frequency-matched (CPM) previously, so I wanted to ensure the new club would follow the same precise shaft specs.The phone experience was incredibly disappointing and unprofessional. The employee who answered had absolutely no clue what "Shaft Frequency" or "CPM" meant—which is basic, fundamental knowledge for any professional custom club builder. Instead of finding someone who could help, a female manager got on the phone and dismissively said, "We don't do that here," without any professional explanation or courtesy.For a shop that claims to offer custom building and has high ratings, the lack of technical knowledge and poor customer service over the phone is shocking. They just wanted to take a blind online order without ensuring proper spec matching.If you are a serious golfer looking for precise, high-end custom work or frequency matching, save your time. Go to a real professional shop instead.

Incredibly well stocked, the staff are so friendly, knowledgeable and genuinely passionate about golf and it shows. I picked up a pair of Fj traditions I'd been eyeing up for a while for $99, also upgraded my driver and replaced my 2 iron with a 7 wood. I was fitted for taylormade Qi4Ds trackman and all included for free. Their pricing is much better than PGA Superstore, and the whole experience feels far more friendly and welcoming for anyone who loves the game. Having a golf shop this good this close to home is a godsend. Thanks a bunch!

As usual, Plaza Golf delivers on service and quality! I got my 1st set of clubs from here (thanks Tom). This time they turned around an 8 iron shaft replacement in just a few hours (thanks to Mike and the staff up front). Finally, I couldn't help myself when seeing all the sales so I got some perishables (golf balls). Good times!

im no pro at golf, but i used to come here since i worked nearby in 2007 - 2010. I feel like nothing has changed, except for the staff probably. Everyone is still super nice and attentive. Everyone is very helpful. Cant complain about the services they provide like re-grip and repairs (amongst other services i unfortunately have not experienced yet) - all definitely quality & consistent work. Definitely stocked with anything and everything you would need. Support local & family owned busines. Theres a reason why this place has been around for years.

My family has been coming to this shop for quite some time, and we have purchased several golf clubs here over the years. We’ve always appreciated supporting a local business, and overall the quality of products has been solid. However, during his recent visit, he had a disappointing experience that I feel is important to share. As someone who is not very comfortable speaking English, my parents felt that the interaction was noticeably less patient and welcoming than expected. As a loyal customer, this left him quite disheartened. This is why I am giving a 4 stars instead of a 5.
