This is the condition of Oso Pool as of yesterday, 5/25/26. 3 children within my group had cut feet from the pool floor. The life guards were amazing in assisting with cleaning the cuts. There was overgrown weeds within the pool area and the amount of debris floating in the pool and settled at the bottom is unacceptable. I also messaged the parks and rec fb page and while they were quick to respond I have not had an update.

Awesome pool area with small fountain and shallow end for kids. Also has a playground outside. And it's free! It's blocked from wind by neighboring houses, and even has a deeper section with lane lines for lap swim. This park is a little hidden gem! The pool does show it's age, but it's a great place to bring kids and hang out! My only recommendation for parks and rec would be to get the bird and bird poop situation around the pool deck a little better controlled. I don't know the pool hours but I went yesterday and it was already open for the season!

Nice playground, it is covered and would be great to even play in the Texas heat. The only downside is that there are no public bathrooms. There is a public pool, a covered basketball court, a picnic table, some grass to play games on.

Pool open Friday through Tuesday good fun . No charge is great . They need to sell water or something might make a little cash

I had a small family outing with my nieces, my wife and her brother with his daughter, along with my friend, being the mother of my chosen niece. Deciding this would be one of the parks we would take these two cute little ruffians, we drove them to this second one of two we would visit yesterday. Though we didn't attend the pool or the sole building of this location, we had allot of fun! Within the time I supervised my nieces, I could tell my youngest niece would remember this as one of the funnest parks she would come to in Corpus Christi. Not to mention the climbing rock I was able to parkour up and down several times! This was the spectacle of my time here! Therefore, I give this one a five-out-of-five stars for good quality parksmanship, and we will definitely be returning to this one! ☆☆☆☆☆
