Very great and amazing place to bring all your little or big doggies 🐕! They all run around, sniff, sniff, sniff, pee, poop, pee and pee again within an AMAZING enclosed area that keeps all our lovely doggies in a safe area for them to play, run, and chase whichever dog that runs first! There's a quite a family gathering of homeowners and dog owners that all come here and that all know each other very well it seems!

I usually take my dogs to the Orange Dog Park on Yorba, but it's closed on Wednesday, so I decided to look for an alternative near me. The park was deserted when we arrived (around 3:45 PM), but within a few minutes several other people brought their dogs in to enjoy the space. There's enough shade for a hot day, and plenty of benches are placed around the perimeter, as well as two benches on a hill near the center of the park. I'm giving this place four stars because it could have more grass and less gravel/sand, but it's clean and nice, and we'll definitely be back.

To the people who frequently visit this dog park in 2026: I’ve been bringing my dog, Chemi (a male Rottweiler), to Olive Hills Dog Park because he has friends here and the park itself is nice. You may know me or my dog. What stands out about this dog park is not just occasional dog conflicts, but the clear double standard in how they are judged. My dog has been approached, challenged, and provoked multiple times by other dogs (including a Golden Retriever and a Husky). Each time, there is always an explanation–“he doesn’t like certain dogs,” or “he’s just asserting dominance.” However, when my dog responds defensively, the tone immediately shifts. Suddenly, it becomes about his breed. For context: Chemi has never initiated a fight. What makes this worse is the attitude from some regulars. Instead of looking at situations objectively, there is a strong sense of bias and group mentality. If you truly care about dogs, then be objective. Don’t hide behind selective excuses while labeling others based on breed stereotypes. Also, for those who rely on assumptions about Rottweilers: They are guard dogs, not fighting dogs. Hill Dog Park is a solid spot for dog owners looking for a well-sized, no-frills place to let their dogs run and play. I brought my dog, Peyton, and we had a great experience. The park is divided into two fenced areas—one for small dogs and one for large dogs. Both are decently sized, offering enough space for dogs to run, socialize, and play fetch without feeling cramped. The ground is mostly dirt, with a few patches of artificial turf that help keep things cleaner. It can get dusty, especially on dry days, but it doesn’t seem to bother the dogs one bit. There are both dog and human water fountains available inside the park, which is a great convenience—no need to carry extra water bottles unless you want to. There’s also a tennis court up on the hill and a few benches scattered around for owners to relax in the shade. The park is usually clean, and most visitors are responsible and friendly. Fencing is secure, and visibility across the park is good, making it easy to keep track of your dog. Parking is free and located just a short walk from the park entrance. Well kept, plenty of parking, doggy bags, & water stations. Small dog side and large dog side with safe and working entrances. Parks are huge and very well kept! It was empty on a Friday around lunch! Tucked away in a nice neighborhood, surrounded by nature and others up the hill playing tennis. No bad experiences with other pets or pet parents during my visits! I’ve only experienced the big dog section.
