If you’re in Florida and get the chance to go to the Miami Open, do it!! I look forward to finals weekend all year. You don’t even need tickets to the courts to have the best time. You can watch the players warm up, eat yummy food, try amazing drinks, play games, win freebies, dance, and so much more just by buying tickets to the stadium grounds. You can even watch the matches from the big screen outside the courts if you want!! 100% worth it - can’t wait for next year!!🫶🏻

Fifth FABULOUS year at this venue and we love it. Clean restrooms. Fantastic variety of foods. LOVE the new Açaí Bowls! I had the Tiger. Yum! Lots to do - games, freebies, and we get so close to the players we can hear them breathe! Look for Doug - he’s good the water/beer cart near first aid and he’s great!

This was my first time attending a tennis tournament. I love the vendors, seating is wonderful. I was able to purchase souvenirs and there is also a Lacoste store. I wasn’t able to go into stadium but I could attend all other tennis matches. They have a big screen so you can watch the game that’s being played in stadium and seating with umbrella’s. I parked in parking lot at Walmart and the cost was$45 and they had a shuttle to gate. All purchases at stadium must be made with card or Apple Pay, no cash is accepted. The souvenirs and clothes are pricy but that is to be expected because Miami. I also made arrangements to get info on purchasing ticket to 2027 open in advance. You get better seats by doing this. I highly recommend attending this event and enjoying all it has to offer.

The Miami Open is a fantastic 1000 tennis tournament that takes place in March, just after Indian Wells, CA. All the best players in the world are participating. It is beautifully organized by the former ATP single world no. 4, James Blake. The nearby parking lot gives easy access to the stadium. Sometimes, I am nostalgic about the former Key Biscayne “Crandon Park“ location and its charm. But its parking lot was so far away, you had to take a bus to go to the stadium, it was just a nightmare! The Hard Rock Stadium is a 65,000 capacity football stadium and it is not really adapted to be a tennis stadium. A massive temporary, three-sided stand is erected on the field to bring a total of 14,000 spectators closer to the action. But it lacks atmosphere even with the local Latino fans! I like much more the new Grandstand court where the spectators are closer to the action. There are lots of seating around all the other 11 tournament courts. And there is a great variety of good quality food vendors and enough seats to eat, relax or watch tennis on the huge screen! I attended the Miami Open on a Tuesday for the day session, and overall, it was a pretty good experience despite a few hiccups. Unfortunately, it started raining, and they paused everything—including food and beverage sales—which was frustrating. However, the lounges were a nice escape during the downtime, and some of the free giveaways added a fun touch. The food options were definitely a highlight, with a great variety of vendors like Miami Slice and Omakai, offering plenty of quality choices. The grounds themselves were well-maintained, with lots of seating areas and a big screen where you could watch the matches if you weren’t inside one of the stadiums. If it weren’t for the unexpected delays due to the rain, it would’ve been a near-perfect day. I’d definitely go back, but hopefully next time, they handle the weather interruptions a bit better.
