Absolute joke of a facility. Avoid this place at all costs. First of all, the front desk guy, Nathan, is incredibly headstrong, rude, and has absolutely zero concept of basic customer service or respect. He acts like he's doing you a favor just by existing. The management here is completely detached and takes their customers entirely for granted. Case in point: they refuse to even turn on the AC. If the temperature needs to be adjusted by a mere 1–2 degrees, staff literally have to contact the admin just to get permission from the owner. It is a crazy, micromanaged environment that completely ignores customer comfort. To top it all off, the facility is filthy and neglected. There are never any tissues or paper towels in the restroom. Half the time, the restroom is just locked with an "Out of Order" sign slapped on it because they clearly don't want to bother cleaning or maintaining it. If you want proof of how little they care, just look at the reviews here—the owners don’t even bother to reply to customer complaints. Has both open play and court reservations. 4 designated open play courts, 5 designated teservation courts, the other half is usually training. Has a lot of training classes going on throughout the week. Courts are good, just has some air bubbles here and there. Temperature of the facility is pretty cool, unless there's a lot of players that day, then it gets a bit humid. Customers here are both nice, but some are a bit hostile and not following the rules to the company policy. Receptionists are really nice and understanding. Fast stringing service. Proshop isnt bad, but they have an online store that so that works as an alternative. Has 5 facilities across the DFW area. Would come here to play every now and then since it's out of my way.

It is concerning that the mats are in such poor condition and have not been replaced yet. During play, there is a noticeable rebound when landing on the mats, which significantly increases the risk of knee and joint injuries. No amount of protective gear can compensate for unsafe playing surfaces. Many players are already experiencing increasing joint pain, and this issue should be treated as a safety concern rather than a minor maintenance problem.

I had a terrible experience at McKinney Badminton Center. We had reserved and paid for a court at 6 PM, but when I arrived, they said that we could not play due to a power outage that had occurred at 3:30 PM, which was well before our reservation. They had our contact information but did not contact us to let us know about the power outage. There was no communication whatsoever. I wasted an hour round-trip driving there, only to be turned away. The front desk staff did not give any type of reimbursement. I was only offered a refund for something that was entirely their fault to begin with! There was no apology, no compensation for the inconvenience, and no accountability for the complete lack of communication. I asked to speak with management, but there was no way to contact them other than email, which is completely unacceptable in this type of situation and another example of terrible management. Service like this is unacceptable for any business, especially one that charges premium rates. Very disappointing, will not be coming here ever again. Frisco Badminton is better priced and much more reliable.

The location was a bit hard to find, but it’s worth it. It’s newer and cleaner. Service is better. It is well-lit but LED light can make it hard to see the birdies at times. It wasn’t as packed as other locations. Overall I’ll be back.
