My child is attending summer camp there. Staff from the Maverick sent out a message saying payments will be due June 8 and if we need a payment arrangement to call. Well hours later another message was sent out and said there was a typo payment will be due June 1. I spoke with Joyce today, she stated she was unaware that message went out but there was no way we could make a payment arrangement. If the payment wasn’t made today, my child could not attend even after I’ve paid a deposit. Over all -bad service. The staff members should all be on the same page. Do better.

Poor communication, they had me running around in this heat.90 ☀️🥵 Today was my daughter's 1st day at maverick. Whenever I was signing her up enrolling her the receptionist said this to pick her up at this location and this time by the time it was time to go get her she wasn't there at that location. So the floaters / teachers that were on duty at that time was making phone calls of where's my daughter. I was worried about her. Because they the teachers/floaters didn't know she was a member at maverick. So I had to go to her school because that's where she was after all.

Had the honor of volunteering, truly astounded by the effort and selfless work it takes to ensure these children have their best day every day. Overly impressed by the staff and their leadership in creating a loving, safe and academic atmosphere. If you haven't volunteered, you sleeping on one of the best experiences of a life time.

This place is Amarillos WORST daycare. My daughters father enrolled her here. I begged him not to. The staff lined the kids up in the gym facing the wall. Once they were all facing the wall they shut the lights off and it was pitch black. They had staff walking up behind these kids who were already scared and flipping the lights on only to see scary clown masks then quickly shut the lights off again. They also had the kids doing squats by the double digits for punishment. I would not ever willingly allow my child to stay here. My oldest daughter did participate in wrestling and it was a decent experience. I was always there with her though.

I need to edit my review. My granddaughter goes to the Boys & Girls Club. She used to love going to the Maverick. I'm not sure if they just dictating a response yet my granddaughter appears to not like going to the Maverick as much anymore. going to the Maverick does give her an opportunity to get out and have fun that interact with other kids. I give the staff at the Maverik credit for taking on the responsibility of taking care of so many kids at one time. Money-wise I don't pay the bill I really don't care. someone else pays it but the happiness of my granddaughter is more important . when someone in my family is not happy there's a problem. If there is a question to be posed is, if the Maverick is a large daycare where parents and grandparents just dropped the kids off in order to have time to do the stuff that they need to . I care about the staff. they have to take care of kids that are disrespectful, unappreciative, lack of Home training, and sometimes downright mean. unlike other reviews this one deserves a little bit more attention we as parents and grandparents need to do better because when we put our kids out there with other people these kids can be hard because they h
