I would like to highlight the excellent experience I’ve had with Life Time over the past few weeks. From the very beginning, Matthew made a great impression during our tour and sign-up process. He was knowledgeable, welcoming, and made joining the gym an easy decision. I especially want to recognize Alexandria at the Concierge desk, who was truly exceptional. After a trainer missed a scheduled session due to a scheduling oversight, she went above and beyond to make sure I felt supported. She checked on me multiple times and even texted to ensure everything was okay and that my Life Time experience was meeting my expectations. Her level of care and follow-through made a lasting impression. I also want to give credit to Sam, the trainer who missed that initial session. Once we rescheduled, he was fantastic. He took the time to understand my goals, created a thoughtful plan for our upcoming sessions, and has been attentive, professional, and encouraging throughout the process. Beyond these individuals, I’ve attended several classes and have been consistently impressed by the coaches. They are knowledgeable, energetic, welcoming, and genuinely invested in helping members succeed.

I really want to like this place. I've been going here for almost 10 years. But holy crap do the employees ever just ruin my day. Here are some examples. If you're one day late on your payment they will point this out, loudly, when you arrive and try to check in. If you lose something in the locker room, they're real quick to point out that they "have no responsibility to help you, and if someone stole it it's not their fault. Really not their fault. You can ask their manager it's not their fault." As if I think it's their fault that I can't find something I dropped or something like that. Sometimes the lockers get messed up. I started taking a photograph of the lock with the correct combination when I lock it. There are three or four lockers that regularly do not work correctly and I've pointed that out over and over. But about once a week I would see someone struggle with those same lockers and the employees act like this is the customer's fault. They have a great facility but the whole experience there is ruined by rude employees, and I just don't understand that. If there were any other gyms in town that had decent pools, I would switch in a heartbeat.

Visited this gym on weekends mostly, and the flow is different compared to weekdays—more relaxed but still active. I managed to complete full workouts without much waiting, which was surprising. The locker area is clean but can get tight during peak hours. I once had a small delay at reception due to a queue, but it moved faster than expected. Equipment is generally in good condition, and people tend to be respectful about sharing. It’s a straightforward gym that works best if you go in with a flexible mindset.

Highly Recommended! I continue to have afantastic experience here, and I can’t say enough good things about the service. From start to finish, everything is handled with professionalism and care. A huge shoutout to Chloe, who truly went above and beyond. She was incredibly helpful as is all the staff. The atmosphere is great, the quality was top-notch, and the staff really makes you feel welcome. I will definitely keep coming back and would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a great experience. Keep up the amazing work!

I am beyond disappointed with the service—or lack thereof—provided by the manager, Matthew, at the Life Time Fitness in San Antonio. While I understand that clubs have policies, the blatant inconsistency at this location is maddening. Earlier that same morning, I was allowed into the club with my guest pass without any issues, no member present, and no ID requested. However, when I returned later, Matthew decided to play "enforcer." Despite explaining that I had already been granted access hours prior and was actively evaluating the gym for a potential membership, Matthew was completely inflexible. Instead of honoring the precedent set by his own staff or showing any level of professional courtesy, he essentially gave me an ultimatum: find the member immediately or pay for a day pass. Why this was a "Despicable" Experience: • Zero Consistency: Rules apparently change depending on who is standing at the front desk. You cannot hold guests to a standard that your own team doesn't follow. • Poor Sales Tactics: If your goal is to convert guests into long-term members, nickel-and-diming them for a day pass when they already have a valid multi-day guest pass is a great way to lose a lead.
