I am incredibly sad and disappointed at Life Time's decision to demolish the cycle studio and remove all cycle classes. Cycle is a huge component of my fitness journey, and I have found it to be so challenging yet also rewarding. Every class I feel motivated to push myself to do my best, and the instructors, such as Mario, Tiffany, Trenice, and others, have given me the strength and confidence to do so. These classes are beloved by many, and are often waitlisted, so I know I am not the only one that feels this way. I joined Life Time with my family, and have remained a member here since it opened, because of its location in Frisco, the cycle classes that were offered, and the instructors. Now, I am failing to see the value in my membership - which is exorbitantly expensive, especially given that these classes are being taken away. I used to cycle 3-4 times a week, and now I have zero options other than to be told by Life Time to go to McKinney, Allen, or Plano for this programming instead. I am extremely disappointed to hear that the cycle studio at the Frisco club is being removed and turned into a CTR Pilates studio. Pilates may be incredibly popular, but that should not come at the expense of a well-loved and consistently utilized cycling program. The experience Mario and the other instructors provide is something I have not found anywhere else in the surrounding area. I joined Life Time two weeks ago, which makes this especially frustrating. During my tour, one of the things I specifically mentioned was that I was looking for a club where I could take cycling classes while also having access to quality strength-training equipment. The cycle studio was a meaningful part of that decision. I was in Mario’s class last Sunday and it was completely full. There is clearly a demand for these classes. The energy and community in that room are something you simply cannot replicate by telling members they can drive to another location. While I did received a kind, thoughtful email from the studio manager, the decision sounds final. Since they are not taking any consideration from members that regularly attend spin classes, I’m already questioning the value of my members

I’m incredibly disappointed in Life Time’s decision to eliminate cycle classes and replace that space with CTR. One of the biggest reasons I’ve valued a LifeTime membership is the variety. Cycle is more than just another class on a schedule. It’s a workout people genuinely love, a community, and for many members, a major reason they belong to a full-service fitness club rather than a single-modality studio. There are also other studio spaces within LifeTime Frisco that could have been used for CTR. I sincerely hope leadership reconsiders this decision. Taking away a completely unique fitness modality to make room for CTR doesn’t feel like an upgrade it feels like members are simply losing an option which seems directly at odds with LifeTime’s promise of providing a comprehensive fitness experience with something for everyone.

Hands down, this is the best gym in DFW. I've worked out at all kinds of gyms across the metroplex, and nothing compares to Life Time Frisco. The facility is always clean, the equipment is top-notch, and the overall atmosphere makes it easy to stay motivated. The staff is outstanding, especially Matt at the front desk. He's always friendly, professional, and goes above and beyond to make sure any questions are answered. He even helped me get everything set up on the mobile app and made the whole process effortless. Once you join Life Time Frisco, it's hard to imagine going anywhere else. If you're looking for a premium gym with amazing staff and first-class amenities, this is the place to be.
