The gym is really nice except for the aerobic room which is very hot. I almost fainted last Saturday especially with a hot weather right now... The aerobic room in LA Fitness in Stevenson Ranch is a lot more better.

I used to go to this gym 8 years ago. Came back for a visit and needed a workout. This gym is now legit. On par from an equipment standpoint to the higher end gyms in SCV. New equipment including a room of legit Rogue equipment and additional cardio equipment like assault bikes. Hell yeah, LA fit is legit!

Mixed experience at this LA Fitness location. While the gym floor features some nice new equipment and is generally well-maintained, the bathrooms are consistently neglected and rarely clean. The staff is usually friendly, but today’s service was baffling; a staff member walked away mid-sentence while I was inquiring about my membership without a word of explanation. Whether it was a total lack of training or a "squirrel" moment, it was quite rude. Luckily, another team member was professional enough to step in and actually answer my questions. Update: another negative experience today with rude front desk folks, had guests who had their pics taken before, but their system didn't pull it up. I believe the front desk lady was Lucila and she was rude, didn't have the capacity to emphasize with us. It was her way or the highway. Luckily another employee came by and said he'll put the guests in the system quickly for us if we just write down the names. Understood we didn't have much time to work out and go home for dinner. There are some good folks here, but with so many employees you don't know what kind of service you are going to get.. I'd recommend the business to look into compete

Free guidance for this GM: If your own posted signage and the Golds website state that you’re ready to receive new customers at 8am, you need to keep your contract and your word. You need to either change your promise to 8:30am, or you need to tell your lazy sales teammates to show up the 30 minutes earlier to keep your stated commitment. You also need to train your FDA/Front Desk Associate to handle the response for this shortfall. I’ve been a strength coach since 2008 - gyms with these seemingly “small” problems always have other issues. I have seen people inspecting the machines today, and they all seem to be in good working condition. This gym is spacious and has a great amount of equipment to get a workout in. There is a juice bar which has amazing prices. Basketball court has just been updated. There's also a racquetball court which is very fun and amazing to get in the cardio going. The staff is amazing. Although I don't blame the Janitor for the sometimes dirty locker room. It could use some fans to dry out the rooms when it is mopped.
