Just played Killian today, it’s really much improved and they’re still working to improve it further. The greens are very well kept and it was a pleasure to play there today. The price is very reasonable especially by comparison and I just found out Mondays they run a special and you can play for $30. Give it a try and you’ll see, it’ll grow on you.

Outstanding course. The greens look gorgeous and always a good time. The GM is always charming and gracious to laugh at my terrible golf jokes. 10/10 would recommend.

Best hurricane golf course in Florida, and I mean that as a compliment. The drainage system is one of a kind. After a proper South Florida downpour you’re not playing a round so much as conducting a wetlands survey with a 7-iron. Bring balls you’re not emotionally attached to. But here’s the thing nobody tells you: Killian is the only course where the storm is the party. Sky goes green, everybody else packs it in, and somehow there’s a group still out there making the best of it. You don’t get that energy at the places with valet parking. The staff is classic local. They know your name by the second visit, they’ll diagnose your slice whether you asked or not, and they run a happy hour Fridays at 3 on hole 12 that is, unofficially, the best thing about this golf course. It’s not Doral and it’s not trying to be. It’s affordable, it’s unpretentious, and it moves at a pace where you can actually talk to the guys you came with. Nobody’s rushing you. Nobody’s watching you. If you want to have a good time and play in peace, go to Killian.

Maintenance worker drunk and passed out right outside my fence while my two daughters were playing outside. Extremely creepy and unprofessional. Coincidentally, a few months ago, my fence post was struck, fell down, and I had to replace it which cost a lot of money. I asked the golf course to cover the cost and they refused. They have a maintenance worker drinking beer and operating golf carts. Absolutely unacceptable and extremely dangerous.
