Just returned from a trip down to Port Aransas, where we stayed in unit 141. The room was really nicely decorated and it’s a great location, with a very short boardwalk to the beach, which I appreciated. We stayed here because there were two pools and a tennis court, and really enjoyed the tennis court. The pool was another story, it was really dirty and another guest who was there spent about 30 minutes with the pool net cleaning out the bugs just so that people could get into it. Also, the cleanliness of the unit left a lot to be desired, I don’t think it had been mopped in quite some time there and I’m not convinced the sheets were fresh. Also, the sliding Glassdoor needs to be replaced, it was really hard to open from the inside and almost impossible from the outside, I hurt my shoulder really badly trying to slide it open. But the thing that just wasn’t OK was that there was what appeared to be mold on the baseboard under the air conditioner. This has the potential to be a great unit but the owners should know that the cleanliness is lacking and if it is mold, it needs to be remediated.

These are old and run down. Rented unit 133 through Airbnb/AvantStay for two nights and it only had a small window unit that couldn’t cool the room. After six hours I left and had to get a hotel. I can’t get a hold of anyone for a refund, do not stay here and let them steal money from you also.

Really disappointed with our recent experience. My family’s room was canceled without any notification before our arrival, and when we got there, the staff couldn’t provide any proof that they had attempted to contact us. We didn’t receive a refund until we arrived and discovered our room had already been given to someone else, despite being told the reservation had been canceled for some time. We’ve stayed here for years, so this experience was especially disappointing. The lack of communication, organization, and customer service was frustrating, and the staff was unhelpful and “had other things to do” when we tried to understand what happened.

Great location on the beach with lots of space. Kid friendly with 2 great pools to swim in. Short walk over the dunes on a nice walkway to the clean beach. Great getaway for the week with my boys. Thanks!

I rented a breach front condo on the first floor the year after Hurricane Harvey. There weren’t many units open yet so we were one of the few families visiting. The pools were clean and well maintained. The boardwalk to the beach was a highlight for the kids. The year after that trip we had a second floor beach view owned by the same person. It was newly renovated, the set up made the whole beach experience so much better. The property has security which is nice, especially on weekends when it gets busy. I believe the condos come with a full kitchen, fully stocked with kitchen utensils. They have the best bang for your Buck! The only downfall is the property isn’t pet friendly so we have booked here in a while.
