We have had a great experience with Michael and his team. Sign up was easy and classes are multiple children, but all the students seem to be taught with their individual needs in mind. My daughter can tell us exactly what she learned each day and she’s only 3! Hughston Swim Ranch is definitely making a positive impact for swim lessons in our community.

Our 4-year-old had the best time with Coach Michael. I loved that he coaches with a mix of water safety and swimmer stroke skills. We can’t wait to come back next summer!

We LOVED our swim lessons at Hughston Swim Ranch! Coach Michael and Coach Rachel coached together so eyes were on the kids at all times. They were patient as they learned new skills. My child learned new skills and with extra practice throughout the summer he was able to swim across the pool. We’ll be back for perfecting skills and other siblings!

Michael and his team have done an incredible job cultivating an environment that is welcoming to kids, family, friendly, and makes lessons fun! My son has a higher level of anxiety generally so he was very apprehensive but Michael was able to see this and help him get up to speed (I know this was a cost to him personally having to be more intentional in the midst of helping other kids). They also gave me practical tips and a guide to help me continue to develop in with him outside of lessons. My son gets excited about swimming and I know swim lessons at Hughston is a huge part of this…we will be back!! *For families with younger kids- they also have a great air conditioned sun room to watch and help entertain younger ones.

My 5 year old was was so scared during her first swim class. She did not want to go under. Coach Michael gave her ease, and made her have confidence to step In the water. He kept firm boundaries and reminded her she would be safe. After a couple swim lessons, she was excited to go and started practicing at home the swim skills. Swim safety is important and Carter learned them at Swim Ranch. We would highly recommend signing up to have your child get comfortable in the water, and to learn water safety skills. We will be signing her up for more sessions next time! Our little one loves the water now!! Thank you Hughston Swim Ranch!
