Confirmed and prepaid reservation refused Very disappointing experience at Hilton Sacramento Arden West. We had a confirmed and fully prepaid reservation through Booking.com and arrived in the middle of the night in the hotel only to be told by the front desk manager that the hotel was full. We were given no alternative accommodation or meaningful assistance. This was my brother’s wedding night, making the situation especially upsetting. We had booked the room specifically for this important occasion and ended up without the accommodation we had paid for.

They did not very good air conditioning and also was outdated , but can be expected because it is a cheaper hotel. Liked the front desk lady, but did not have a great experience with Jeremy. Also the area isnt too bad so i would just say it was all to be expected for the price.

I booked a room nearly 6 months in advance when I knew I'd be traveling for work. I arrived 15 minutes before check-in, and was checked in with no issues. When I got to my room, I realized it was a handicap-accessible room which I did not request and they did not inform me of at the front desk. The bathroom was not a standard bathroom and had the wheelchair accessible shower without a tub. But aside from that, the room smelled, was rundown, and there were obvious water stains on the wall and ceiling above the bed. I requested a new room at the front desk and was told they were sold out for the week and couldn't move me... If I was walking in without a reservation, I would get it - but I had my room booked since December. I called my department's travel unit and requested a new hotel (a portion of which I'll now need to pay out-of-pocket). I spoke with the front desk and they were nice enough and assured me that I wouldn't be charged a cancelation fee, but I now have to follow up with my department's accounting office to check, explain everything, and pay the difference for a new out-of-rate hotel. I get that the front desk staff had no control over this, but it shouldn't have happe
