Right off 6 hiway, beautiful rooms, friendly, kind staff. Went of their way to make me comfortable! Charging my Nissan leaf complimentary, so nice. One Hoet charged me $120 for a wall charger.

One of the best and most consistent Hilton Garden Inns around. This is the gold standard. The hot tub and pool are great. Other HGIs have staff that are constantly on their phones or caution tape around their hot tubs. The HGI-College Station staff are friendly, courteous, and attentive. The cooks are both amazing - if Victor is there, try the steak - trust me. The bar staff will remember your name every time. Tina is so attentive to everyone. I am a regular, but I see her treat every guest like they are family. Peyton was a new face at the bar, but she was clearly trained well - and was welcoming to everyone (and remembered my drink order on the second night). The renovation is still going on - the revamp in the rooms isn’t anything glorious, but the refresh is nice. The water pressure and the showers are great. The rooms are clean and housekeeping is great! Still waiting for the lobby to be fully finished - but it is looking great! The renovated gym is fantastic.

I was very disappointed with the customer service I received from Emmit during our stay. We traveled to town for my son’s tournament and booked a Double Queen room for two guests. While I mistakenly listed only one person on the reservation, I politely asked if one additional breakfast voucher could be provided for my son. Emmit refused multiple times without offering any flexibility or attempting to provide a solution. What made the experience frustrating wasn’t the cost of the breakfast voucher. It was the lack of hospitality and customer service. Hilton Garden Inn advertises a customer satisfaction guarantee, stating that if something isn’t right, their team will “make it right.” That certainly was not my experience. This was a simple opportunity to demonstrate great customer service and create goodwill, but instead I was met with repeated refusals and no effort to help. I’ve stayed with Hilton properties before and expected much better. I hope management addresses this because the service I received did not reflect the hospitality the Hilton brand promises.

I began working with Lane at this location 6 months before our daughter's wedding. We worked to secure a group rate and block rooms for our party, which ended up totaling over 40 rooms. Lane's commitment to excellence was evident from the first moment we spoke all the way to our event day. He was not only communicative, responsive and prompt, but he was always finding ways to accommodate our requests. Our large party stayed during a time in which the hotel was undergoing major renovations, but you would never know it; operations seemed to flow smoothly, and our guests actually raved about how pleasant their stay was. The rooms and public areas were exceptionally clean--cleaner than any other Hilton Garden Inn I've ever stayed. I cannot thank Lane and his team enough for making our wedding event (an already stressful experience) so enjoyable and seamless.
