Very disappointing with the program this year. A quick reminder to the “manager” this is a recreational league! Placing the best players on two teams and using the rest of the teams as a practice squad is an awful way of running a city sponsored program.

The community is prime picking for housing. However if you are coming from a city where community is built this area is much different than City of Georgetown ATX or Hutto. They depend heavily on parent volunteers to conduct the sport programs meaning there is no unity in sportsmanship, or teamwork being taught there is no common goal being taught it’s just whatever anyone wants to do who volunteers. Last season we drove back to Georgetown for baseball shout out to YMCA. Looks like that’s the option if you want wholesome team oriented sports experience for your young child.

My Daughter attends the house of discipline at Harker Heights Rec Center . She is learning Taekwondo from THE BEST! My Daughter has been going to the House of Discipline for almost a year. We LOVE it!! The amount of structure the students get and all that they learn is unmatched locally . We actually attend their classes in Harker heights and in Copperas Cove. If you are deciding where to send your children .. send them HERE you WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED. p.s. You can thank me later ;).

A lovely facility, fantastic people. We're from Canada, visitors new to Texas. We have found the pickleball community to be extremely friendly and helpful. Many thanks to Estoban, Horatio and all the others, Jade, Pert, Wanda, Nadine, all of you for the great time we had (and my lessons!)
