The park itself is quaint, quiet and clean. But if you’re here for pickleball please be warned - the nets are tennis nets (wrong height), there is no wind protection, and worst of all the surface is rough painted asphalt. It is uneven, has indentations and some areas are sloped more than others. I really appreciate that there was an effort made here, but do not expect a smooth playing area. Everything else was done right! There was a NextUp paddle system in place, fences between courts, and even bleachers for spectators. I am glad this is here, I was just disappointed in the most crucial parts of the facility regarding pickleball - the court surface and nets.

I think it’s awesome that these pickleball courts were built; HOWEVER, they were not properly finished. There needs to be a layer of acrylic paint applied, followed by a coat of sports master pickle master to fill in the grooves on the courts to help eliminate trip hazards. Put a push broom to clean the courts off and actual pickleball nets not tennis nets, they are different heights. That is the standard, as I have played all across the US and these are the worst courts I have ever played on! Fix them up!

I recently picked up playing Pickleball with my son and appreciate having open use courts. I wish we had more courts. I also wish more folks in the Valley used one of the apps to coordinate playtimes. Evenings on weekdays often have packed courts. So, it may be hit-or-miss whether you can find an open court here. I haven't explored the rest of the park but it looks like a nice gem in the neighborhood.

Went here to try out the new Pickleball courts. They were decent but there should definitely be better lighting for playing at night.
