Been coming here for about 2 weeks now. The park itself (Grass Area) is nice big and well maintained. But I'm not sure this park is for pedestrian use or at least it doesn't seem like it. I came here to walk my dog but the whole grass area is taken up by Disc Golfers (Frisbees). I was looking for park rules to make sure i was allowed to walk my dog but didn't see any signs about . People just throw discs as your walking around some came really close to hitting me but maybe I'm just being a Karen? Apart from that whoever is in charge of the trash cans is either lazy or doesn't do their job. They don't get emptied enough for the traffic this park has, Everytime I come the trashcans by the restroom are filled to the very top.

IN THE PAST IT WAS SO NICE FOR US, THE NIEGHBORHOOD TO GO TO THIS PARK, NOW IS TERRIBLE, DISCS FLYING EVERYWHERE AND HIT BY THEM, LIKE HAPPENED WITH ME AND MY GRANDSON...I DON'T KNOW WHO WAS THE "BRILLIANT" MIND THAT DECIDED THIS KIND OF GAMES BUT IT'S IMPORTANT THAT SOMEONE RESPONSIBLE IN CHULA VISTA CITY DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT

Spaceous, clean, and visually appealing. Any play area that doesn't have a restroom (of some sort) near the playground, I knock off 2 stars. No baby swing but they do have a handicap swing. Plenty of trees that offer shade. Gazebo with tables. Lots of designated seating.

A very well kept and maintained park by the city. The play structures are in good shape. Some writing on the tables but not a problem. A good place to take your children to play if they're elementary age.
