I’ve really enjoyed learning from and working with Coach Ray! He takes the time to explain through corrections, break down the steps, and catch details that lead to greater improvement. I appreciate how his lessons focus on technical skills and I’ve seen so much progress in the past few months.

I used to play on my high school tennis team when I was younger and then stopped in my early 20s. Some decades later, I wanted to pick back up the sport and vetted a couple of coaches before deciding to move forward with Coach Ray. On our first lesson, we were able to isolate the bad habits I had formed in my earlier years of playing and Coach Ray worked hard to break down the technicalities of a good swing. I went back and forth deciding whether /not to get a ball machine so I could work on consistency. Coach Ray talked me out of it and I am so glad he did - he has shown me that the best way to get better is to practice reps with someone while having live feedback. All this to say, Coach Ray is amazing if you’re not afraid of venturing into the technical (i.e., what makes a good swing a good swing and what are all the components to hitting a ball before you actually hit the ball). I enjoy our lessons very much and feel like I have had major improvement in just two months.

Coach Ray has been amazing. He tailors lessons to each athlete’s needs and adjusts quickly based on what’s working. He’s very good at identifying technique corrections and uses specific drills that actually help fix problem areas. My daughter’s improvement has been exponential since working with him. Ray is always punctual and when time allows, he’s generous about spending extra time to really dial things in. Tennis lessons can be expensive, but Ray offers great value for the area. I would absolutely recommend him!

Coach Ray has been a fantastic instructor for our twin daughters. He’s patient, positive, and gives clear guidance that’s easy for them to apply. His thoughtful coaching and helpful insights have really boosted their confidence and skills on the court.
