how does a bar close on a Sunday night at 8:00 p.m. pm? and you can't order food after 8:00 p.m. The front desk clerk didn't know this even though she told us that food was available and drinks during our check in at 8:00 p.m. we were surprised when the bar manager explained that everything closes at 8:00 p.m. on Sundays and the front desk clerk didn't know that and it wasn't her fault. I agree it wasn't her fault. it was Management's fault for not training staff properly. when I asked the bar manager if they would comp. drinks from the marketplace area. he didn't have the authorization to do that so I had to buy a beer for $5. you mean to tell me? thank you. Sunday night doesn't have the authorization to comp a guest. a $5 beer. pretty pathetic at the management of this establishment and to have embassy suites associated with this establishment

I stayed at the Embassy Suites in Laredo, Texas, over the Fourth of July holiday, and I had an excellent experience. The staff was incredibly helpful, friendly, and professional from check-in to check-out. The hotel was very clean, well-maintained, and appeared to be modern and refreshed. My room was comfortable, and despite staying during a busy holiday weekend, it was very quiet. I slept great and didn’t hear any noise. I’ve stayed at other Embassy Suites, including locations in Florida, and this is one of the nicest I’ve visited. The complimentary breakfast was excellent with a great selection, and the evening happy hour was a nice bonus with good snacks and drinks. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel if you’re staying in Laredo. Great service, excellent cleanliness, and a comfortable, relaxing stay.

Embassy Suites recently started charging for parking, which was free for as long as I can remember. I’m not sure what additional service or value the $7 per night parking fee provides. Simply allowing guests to park without being towed doesn’t seem like enough justification. Having 24/7 parking lot security, for example, would add value, but I didn’t see any security personnel during my stay. Other than the new parking fee, the experience was great. The rooms and beds are comfortable, and the housekeeping staff is friendly, accommodating, and does an excellent job.

You cannot lower room temps lower than 68 degrees which makes for a restless night of sleep & hot while 4 people are trying to get ready. We asked for 2 fans which made the rooms tolerable. Happy hour food had dead flies on the dish setup. Swimming pool area had an odor & water was very “cloudy.” We had 2 unhappy kiddos. Kitchenette set up in the room was nice. Hot water was great!
