Dimitar is fantastic. He is a top level coach. We stayed at the Hilton and took lessons with him while we were here. He is very accommodating and friendly. He was also able to give us effective joint lessons even though my husband and I are at very different levels. I would come back to SB just for his lessons.

Highly recommend Dimitar and his Tennis Academy. Originally from Germany, job related we had to spent a month in Santa Barbara and since our son plays tennis , I contacted Dimitar regarding training opportunities in advance. We planned the combination of private, group and fitness sessions. Once in Santa Barbara our son started training in the Academy. . We liked it a lot - very professional Trainer, groups of all levels, very friendly yet competitive atmosphere - nice bunch of happy kids :-) Location is perfect as well. Dimitar is very experienced and knowledgeable, open for conversations.

My 7 year old daughter has been taking group lessons with Dimitar for about a year. Beside loving every minute of it, they have gotten her to progress several levels in a short amount of time. She is really inspired by the top notch junior players as well. We have looked at other places in town and Dimitar is far and away the best. Seeing how much fun my daughter is having caused me to start taking lessons as well. I couldn't imagine a better tennis environment for both kids and adults. From my whole family: Thank you Dimitar!

My daughter has been playing tennis with Dimitar since she was 4 years old. His coaching style and detailed instuction constantly help my daughter advance in her skills. Dimitar is invested in his students and knows exactly how to motivate them to play their best. His dedication has encouraged my daughter to strive for greatness. His academy was recently ranked in the top 40 of the world's best academies, and I can easily see why. Every tournament we go to, people are always amazed at my daughter's precise form. Parents repetitively inquire as to where my daughter plays at, and compliment her game. i have watched her transform into a fantastic tennis player. The part i appreciate the most, is her love for the game. As a parent, while you want your child to be good, you need the child to have fun! Every time i pick her up from pratice, she has a big smile from ear to ear. The coaches there know exactly how to make the kids have fun, while secretly making them better players. I can't say enough about Dimitar and his coaches. We are incredibly grateful that our child has this amazing opportunity to learn from the best. We would never ever consider taking her anywhere else!

This is by far the best place to learn tennis in Santa Barbara. The instructors are great players and know how to develop a player from age 8 to 21 going through all the stages. In the summer, high school and college players visit and train and mix in with the locals. We are lucky to have this resource in our backyard!
