This is an awesome place to go have free fun with friends, enjoy the court's and pleasesnt ambient. The river bed is connected to the park for every one that likes to cycle, walk, or run there.

Great courts! Permanent nets, good upkeep, great players, no reservations, and no fees. Always a great time playing at these courts.

Well built, with lights and open to the public for free. Pickleball hours go to 10pm which is really nice too. Parking lot is small but there's usually plenty of parking on the street. Public restroom is in a separate building across from the courts. Can get crowded on weekends in the morning but overall not as crowded as other courts.

Super fun to go at night. The lights are on till 10 o’clock sharp. It’s totally a scene here and lots of fun good energy all different levels of players… I came by myself and jumped in on some king of the court definitely coming back. It was packed till the lights went off. All courts were nonstop all night long until the lights went off. There was music and it was fun.

8 dedicated pickleball courts with lights for night play! I play here weekly and the people/community that plays here are really friendly and welcoming to new players. I have met some really cool people here. The courts usually get busy after 5pm. Lots of players waiting to play and the 8 courts become 'drop-in/reserve' meaning you would have to place your paddle next to the net to reserve a spot for the next game. The parking lot does get packed but there is plenty of street parking on DeForest Ave. Two issues that need to be addressed are: - adding some type of fence/barrier between the courts to prevent balls from interfering with other courts - the lack of a convenient restroom. The restroom that is currently in the park is a bit of a walk away closer to the baseball fields and is closed/locked most of the time. EDIT: As of 7/25/2024, they have installed a fence in-between the courts to prevent balls from interfering with other courts.
