I want to give a huge thank you to Chris at the Courtyard by Marriott in Waco. I arrived after booking through Booking.com only to find out my reservation wasn't showing in the hotel's system, even though I had already paid extra. That could have turned into a very stressful experience, but Chris handled everything with professionalism, patience, and genuine kindness. He went above and beyond to help me in every way possible, kept me informed throughout the process, and made sure I was taken care of. Customer service like this is hard to find, and Chris turned what could have been a terrible experience into a positive one. Thank you, Chris, for your outstanding service. Courtyard by Marriott is lucky to have you, and I hope your management recognizes the excellent job you do.

Nice hotel in a convenient location. Close to downtown and the river/walking bridge. It got a little loud on our side of the building due to teenagers and others street racing along the river. Seemed safe enough to walk around the area in early evening. I think the local police should put a stop to the loud cars and racing though. Breakfast seemed pricey for what it was, at $15/person (very basic).

Stayed here for a culinary competition with my students. Staff was awesome. Shelby was especially helpful with a couple of situations that came up during our stay. Location is centrally located near the convention center, close to several parks and other areas of interest. Would definitely stay here again on my own or for other events.
