Nice facility but horrible seating for family to watch their loved ones play. No extra place for others waiting for games to start therefore they sand in front of the spectators watching a current game. For the cost of the entry fees it should be better.

This place! Well ran, great courts, easy parking, & great rest area for the players. I hope all of our future tournaments in Amarillo are at this location. Keep being awesome!

I want to be very clear that this review is not about rules regarding outside food or drinks. It is about the extremely poor customer service and unprofessional conduct we witnessed this weekend at Courtside Sport Complex in Amarillo. The behavior of the security staff was unacceptable. We observed aggressive rummaging through personal belongings, belittling and intimidating interactions toward children and women, and publicly calling out individuals with food allergies in a humiliating manner. There were repeated and unnecessary threats to “call the police,” which created an uncomfortable and hostile environment for families attending a youth sporting event. What made the experience worse was hearing the owner walking around the facility speaking negatively about teams and children. That alone speaks volumes about the culture being fostered here. Additional concerns: Concession prices appear excessively marked up. Restroom plumbing was inadequate and poorly maintained. Continuous issues of toilets being clogged up. Serious infection control issues were observed: staff cleaning restrooms without changing gloves and then proceeding to empty trash and wipe tables where people s

NEGATIVE 5 STARS! You would think that after so many negative reviews about how people are treated at this place SURVA would find a different venue for volleyball. We travel all over the country playing and have NEVER even come close to being treated this poorly. It’s a bad look for Amarillo when you have families from all over come to your city and be borderline harassed the moment you walk in. I would rather send my daughter to play in the pasture across the street. Items you could live with if staff were actually friendly: -poor set up -concession food well below average -food overpriced -not enough bathrooms

Upon arrival for a volleyball tournament we were turned away at the door. No outside food or drinks. I get it to an extent. They want their money by having their own concessions. I can live with that. Not many healthy options though. These are athletes. 2nd reason. You can’t bring in your own chairs. We will revisit this in a moment. They checked my purse upon arrival. Made me open it so they could look and make sure I wasn’t bringing food in. I who to pay and it’s cash only. I am from out of town and didn’t not have my car and was told I had to use the atm across the highway so by the time I found a ride and got there it’s $5 just to use the atm. They turned me away when it’s 40 degrees outside with zero cell service. Now back to the chairs. They LITERALLY don’t have enought seating. If your team is not playing you respectfully let the parents of the team playing sit to watch but if you aren’t playing there is no where to sit. They have PLENTY of staff walking around to enforce ridiculous rules. There is an entire side of the gym that is not being utilized that parents can’t even sit between games. We were told that they were having a benefit later and had to keep it clean. Aga
