New North Course is solid enough and a fair value. But course ratings are much lower than they should be. Play is too slow, caused by course design issues. I watched average golfers struggle with common shots on this course which led to finishing in 5 hours or a bit more. Holes 8, 11, 12 need to redesigned. I recommend playing the South Course instead, or the Par 3.

I played the game for the first time on the northern course today, and the green was really challenging. On the 12th hole, the ball will land in the water, so I recommend not to hold onto the driver. And if the ball accidentally lands in the rough, it's really hard to find, so be careful. But it was really fun. Next time, I’d like to try the southern course. The weather was a bit windy, but thanks to that, I was able to enjoy the game coolly. I highly recommend you visit at least once.

Played a great weekday midday round on the North Course, and the pace of play was excellent. The course is beautifully maintained and in top-notch condition. The fairway turf is a different kind of grass compared to most Bay Area courses—it has a distinct golden-yellow look rather than the usual lush green, and it's cut very short so the ball runs out forever. However, keep in mind that although this is a links-style course, danger still lurks if you stray too far off line; your ball can easily get lost in the water hazards or the thick, long rough. When approaching the greens, it’s best not to over-club. Some of the bunkers are pretty deep and will definitely test your sand game. While many of the greens are massive and easy to hit in regulation, they roll true and fast. The undulating surfaces will really put your green-reading skills to the test.

It was my first time playing, & I was pretty impressed with how well kept the green and fairways were. The MiF par 3 course is beginner friendly with some super close tees for the younger players, & also had benches for children or anyone who may get tired. Overall Difficulty level : 4/10 (Hole 3 was a bit tough with a narrower fairway & obstacles both sides) —————————————————————— The South 18-Hole course is harder & not as beginner friendly. The fairways are well kept and wide, but contain many bunkers blocking your shots. Great putting accuracy is also needed for the fast greens and complicated slopes. This course requires accuracy & decent power with every shot. Difficulty Level: 8/10 (As a beginner golfer) (Photos taken at South course)

Gorgeous links style course with great views and amazing conditions. The greens were fast, large and challenging. Bunkers were positioned well and the course is a good test from the black and blue combo. The rough can be very difficult so keep it in short grass to have a good chance to score here. The longest par 3 can play about 250 yards so fair warning if you decide to play from the tips. 😁👍 Overall value and customer service was excellent! I'll be back.
