The venue itself was absolutely beautiful and provided a wonderful backdrop for the wedding. My son was part of the wedding party, so we arrived earlier than most guests. The father of the bride had personally prepared and brought an herbal tea for guests who do not drink alcohol and specifically invited me to help myself. The tea was already set out at the bar with cups available. After noticing that the cup I picked up was cracked, I politely informed the bartender so that no one else would accidentally use it. Unfortunately, I was met with a rude and snarky response and was told that we weren't supposed to be touching anything anyway. This was surprising, considering I had been invited by the host to have some tea and was simply trying to point out a damaged cup.

I'm writing this review from a guest perspective. We attended our friend's wedding here this week and arrived at the venue about an hour before the ceremony started. The venue itself is amazing. There are several suites to accommodate the bride and groom, and the wedding ceremony was held in the fountain room. (That said, the fountain room was extremely hot during the service.) The issues started in the cocktail waiting area. There's a bar there, and while staff were setting up, the woman behind the bar was extremely rude. Guests were piling up just wanting water while they waited for the ceremony to start. My husband mentioned to the bartender that a glass was broken — one she had set out without inspecting first — and she snapped back, "This is the problem, we're not even set up and you all want to grab things." After the ceremony, during actual cocktail hour, the same bartender still wasn't pleasant — almost like she didn't want to be there. The host had brought tea, and when it started running low, she told a friend of ours "this is the last gallon" in a less-than-friendly tone. We hosted our wedding here and got so lucky that the people who was a hold on our wedding date backed out when we inquired. When I first saw this venue online, I had a feeling like this was it. In fact I was ready to sign another venue I didn’t love because I couldn’t find anything we wanted. So when I came to visit the venue here I knew it was everything I was looking for. We got married under the massive banyan tree in the Granada gardens. My husband and I both love trees and it was the perfect setting. And the grand ballroom was the perfect setting for our reception. It was historic, well preserved, had so much character and charm and was truly beautiful. I fell in love and my husband only had videos that I shared with him but he did too. We enjoyed working with coral gables every step of the way. They delivered everything they promised to. Diego and Lorena were responsive and helpful and all of our vendors enjoyed working with them. We would highly recommend this beautiful venue for any special occasion, big or small.

We’ve had the pleasure of working at the Coral Gables Country Club, and we highly recommend it to our couples! Our favorite ceremony spot is the courtyard! It’s an intimate area with a gorgeous, natural backdrop. Portrait sessions are a no-brainer because of the luscious golf course facing the venue. The staff is helpful and kind which really made our experience a special one.
