My 12U team played there this past Saturday. If you want a fair tournament, do NOT take your team here. The referee wasn’t even blowing the whistle for them other team to serve and let them just keep serving. My captain wen to talk to the referee and he told her “BYYYE”, “BYE” and didn’t even give her a chance to come back to her position in the court and the other team was already serving the ball. Because the girls are still learning how to scorekeep, One of the facility directors (named Brandon) stood behind the table and would never change our score. How does my team make three rotations and I have three servers and the score stay the same When Each server is serving more than one ball. This place is a horrible place to play at. We paid money to play and drove an hour and 45 minutes to play. We weren’t even playing for first Or second place. When the referee was confronted about his behavior, he said this is how we do things here. I took it as they wanted to continue to hang their teams banners all over the walls

An Open Letter About Our Experience with TAV (Texas Advantage Volleyball) To anyone considering TAV — the answer is YES, join TAV! Our family joined TAV last summer, and our experience with the organization — particularly with the team led by Bill Reynolds and Ashley Barreda — has been nothing short of exceptional. Despite our daughter facing an injury that sidelined her for half the season, the growth and development she experienced were remarkable. The coaches were attentive, encouraging, and instrumental in keeping her engaged and motivated throughout her recovery. Like with any club team, the level of your involvement as parents plays a huge role in shaping your child’s experience. TAV provides the resources, but it’s up to us as parents to help foster a positive and supportive environment. First of all, let me start off by saying I do not like to leave negative reviews, however, I believe parents doing research out there should be aware of our first year experience in club volleyball with TAV. This was my daughter’s first year in club volleyball and she was super stoked.! She got on the 13 silver team, coached by Anastasia. The season started off positive until we began attending tournaments where it where it became super clear. none of the girls had been taught nor understood the basics of volleyball. The other coaches and referees at tournaments were having to step in and tell our girls where to go and what to do, etc. And our girls were constantly losing, and this continued well over halfway into the season. It was extremely painful to watch… over n over gain. More than halfway through the season,, several parents complained, and finally the coach started addressing the fundamentals. Parents also had to step in and help with weekly practices. Additionally, the girls did not have all uniform items and accessories for much of the season… I had to end up finding sneakers for my daughter elsewhere, and her backpack came in towards the end of the season. The Spectator fee is reasonable. Parking needs to be posted online as other establishments parking areas are used, nice to know in advance. Bleacher seating is insufficient, about half of what is needed.
