Rude front desk lady with green eyes. Very disappointing experience. Played here last week and the employee at the front desk was extremely rude and acted like she was on a power trip. I understand having policies, but there is a professional way to communicate them. Her attitude made the entire experience uncomfortable and left a very bad impression. Management should seriously address how customers are being treated.

Played this course on 3/20/26. The course is mostly in good shape, there are two holes that do not have official greens (due to flooding in 2024) and have not been fixed. The fairways and greens are in pretty good condition but the rough and lakes/ponds are in bad shape. For the price, it is a great course and super fun! Hope holes 2 and 7 get fixed!

The staff is great. The golf course is currently in a rougher state. All of the greens (minus two temporary greens) are in pretty good shape. Still a good place to get a round in

⭐☆☆☆☆ – Bait-and-switch pricing, rude management, and poor course conditions I would not recommend Buena Ventura Golf Course. My experience was disappointing from start to finish, and it was absolutely not worth the time or the money. First issue: misleading pricing on the website. The website advertises $26 twilight golf, which already sounded suspiciously cheap. I called the pro shop to confirm, and the employee told me “yes, that’s the twilight rate.” What was not mentioned is that this price is walking only. Once you add a cart, the actual price jumps significantly. My 1:40 pm tee time ended up costing $44 per person, and because I brought my girlfriend, that became $88 total—nearly double what the website implies. Second issue: confusing and inconsistent policies. At check-in, I asked management if there was a cheaper option or if we could just play nine holes. I was told no, you must pay for all 18. I was then told, “You can golf as long as you can see the ball.” No one mentioned any cutoff time, curfew, or requirement to be back by a certain hour. picture below of when Told “ we don’t allow glow in the dark golf balls “ by the time you hit that is the time you should go

Great to have Buenaventura back open, at least partially with 14 holes. Kudos to their staff for all the effort and work to get everything back in great condition. Fairways and greens are in fantastic shape. Looking forward to getting back out soon. Thank you ⛳️😎🔥👍
