I genuinely like this golf course and play here often. However, some version of this problem occurs almost every time I visit. It happened again today, and I am posting this review because the repeated lack of proper course management can no longer be overlooked. I confirmed with the office that the next scheduled player was two hours after my tee time. Despite this, a man appeared, asked to join me, and then tried to play ahead of me when I declined. He eventually played directly behind me and pressured me to play faster. More people joined him, and additional players appeared around the 12th and 16th holes. My questions for management are: 1. What is the purpose of requiring customers to reserve tee times if others are allowed to enter and play without an assigned starting time? 2. How can the course maintain a safe and orderly playing sequence when people are permitted to appear at different holes without proper coordination? 3. Why did the manager acknowledge that people should not play without a tee time, yet dismiss the issue simply because the course was empty? 4. The course has been rough in recent years. Concerts, rose bowl events, etc (they use the golf course for parking) has taken its toll. It’s surprising it’s as good as it is. No good excuse for the bunker condition. Outside of that, the 2 courses are really fun.

Amazing, classic track. Small greens and tight fairways make up for the length *although there are a couple holes that challenge with length AND needing to be accurate. As any spot in Southern California this is a high traffic course but I consistently see nice greens and once in a while they are lightning. Definitely worth the time if you are in the area. On top of that, staff and the restaurant are great. Have been, and will be back many times.

Beautiful outdoor venue!!! I visited Brookside to see Chappell Roan, and it was more beautiful than I could’ve imagined. At first, I was skeptical of attending a concert at a golf course, and I didn’t have any idea of what the layout would be like. I was extremely surprised when I arrived! The parking situation was well organized, the event managers were friendly and helpful, and the course itself was great! There were multiple concession stands, food areas, bathrooms, vendors, and photo ops. The stage was huge, and the field accommodated thousands of people pretty comfortably. The audio and video team did an amazing job with the music and lighting. Will definitely be attending another event here if given the chance! 😼

This review is based off of an average amateur golfer. We were here for a tournament and unfortunately it was raining for half the holes, but as it got dryer and hotter, it became a solid golfing course. My first time here and I’ve heard about this spot from friends, it’s not too difficult but not too easy. I thought it was a good mix of par 3’s & 4’s. I just wish there was more cart services for food and beverages on the course, but still solid. Overall I thought it was an excellent course and the greens were well kept. There was also an awesome food/dining service area and a solid golf shop. I would definitely come back again, I highly recommend it and I can’t wait to try it on a full summer day.
