I absolutely love playing golf at Brook Hollow Golf Club. The course is beautiful, the greens are in great shape, and I always have a fantastic time. The staff is friendly, and it’s one of my favorite places to spend an afternoon. My only disappointment—and it’s a big one—is the lack of a flagpole. As a patriotic American, I like to say the Pledge of Allegiance before I tee off, and I’ve had to improvise by saluting a particularly majestic oak tree. It does its best, but it’s just not the same. I can only assume the missing flagpole is part of an elaborate mystery that even Barack Hussein Obama couldn’t explain. Maybe it’s in a top-secret government warehouse next to all the missing golf balls I’ve sliced into the woods. Despite this grave national crisis, Brook Hollow remains an outstanding golf club, and I’ll gladly keep coming back. If they ever install a flagpole, I’m expecting my handicap to improve by at least three strokes. Five stars!

Ever since the “totally rigged” 2020 election, I’ve been convinced the squirrels, the mailman, and at least three pigeons have been tracking my every move. Thankfully, Brook Hollow Golf Club has become my undisclosed location of choice. The security is so impressive that I can’t even find myself half the time. The staff politely nods as I conduct my routine perimeter sweeps with binoculars and inspect suspicious-looking golf carts. Not once has anyone questioned my highly classified operations. The course is beautiful, the atmosphere is peaceful, and it’s the perfect place to disappear until I inevitably decide the coast is clear. If you’re looking for a relaxing round of golf or a safe house from your pursuers this is the place. 10/10. The pigeons still know too much, but that’s not the club’s fault.

As an interfaith wedding rabbi and officiant, I have had the privilege of officiating weddings in many remarkable venues over the years. What struck me about Brook Hollow Golf Club was the sense of tradition that surrounded the celebration. From the moment guests arrived, there was a feeling that this was more than a beautiful venue. As someone who spends a great deal of time observing how a setting shapes a wedding experience, I appreciated the balance Brook Hollow achieved between elegance and comfort. The club offers beautiful surroundings and exceptional service, yet it never feels formal for the sake of being formal. Instead, it creates an atmosphere where guests feel welcomed, relaxed, and genuinely cared for. What I remember most was the sense of hospitality. The celebration felt gracious and seamless from beginning to end. I’m not a member of this club, however I attended a debutante event there on January 30th that included dinner. I have been to hundreds of reception dinners and rarely experience the dinner service expertise shown by the Brook hollow staff. For instance, all dinner plates were served at the same time for those at my table, and when collecting the plates after dinner, not one plate was stacked on top of the other when removed. Additionally, the food served had great taste was hot.
