BE WARNED- The course cart paths are under ACTIVE CONSTRUCTION WHILE YOU PLAY!!!! Booked a 10am tee time on a Saturday for $180pp for 18 holes and was not notified the entire course had construction workers literally working while you play. The course itself was not even in very good shape! After our round we asked the Pro Shop where it was listed that the course was under construction and nothing was posted anywhere. We asked to speak with the Manager to which it took 15 minutes just for the Pro Shop to track him down- turns out Kenny (the manager) was busy having beers in the Members Lounge. Once he showed up (2pm in a Saturday) he was obviously highly intoxicated. We explained that even though we are Miami residents it was our first time playing at the course and typically when course is under construction to that degree there is notice to plays or “off season” pricing and we’re disappointed in the conditions. Kenny became rude and combative immediately. I simply asked, “is the course at this time up to your standards” to which he replied “absolutely!”. Pretty sure that’s all you need to know. My client had just purchased a beautiful home in Coral Gables, so we decided to celebrate with a round of golf. It turned out to be the perfect choice! The course is in great condition, and the hotel is absolutely beautiful. After our game, we stopped at the restaurant overlooking the course for a light meal and cocktails, where we were treated to one of the most breathtaking sunsets I’ve ever seen. A wonderful experience with beautiful surroundings and excellent service. Highly recommended!

While this is a fun, easy course, it has gone downhill in the past 2 years. Practice facilities are in poor condition. Pace of play is atrocious. Staff is not great. Fairways are not in good condition. Rough is unkept, and random. You could be 3 ft from the fairway on some holes and be in 12-16 inches of St. Augustine. Rough was cut as a penalty area, and first cut was 6+ inches. Greens are extremely inconsistent. Impossible to get speed correct unless you have played the course multiple times and taken note of the differences on each hole. Pace of play get ridiculous even early mornings. Staff does nothing to improve it or speed it along. The staff in the pro-shop are awful. A bunch of teenagers who are rude and unhelpful. The range is not good. Mats are in terrible shape, balls are old and cracking. The practice green is decent but the hole placement is done by someone that doesn't play golf. There's plenty of space to place holes so you have variety, more lateral or more incline movement, yet for some reason they place them in the easiest spots of the green, never using the slopes so all your putts are flat. The Biltmore golf course is what you would expect of a premium resort golf course. The course itself is pristine and wide open with easy roughs. Ideal for someone looking to have an enjoyable golf experience, without too much adventure. The fairways are so wide that slicers and hookers won’t have much difficulty. Difficulty is added to the course by high walled sand traps with overhanging lips, so no rolling through them. The greens are also difficult from being lightning fast and undulating, that will take getting used to. The facilities are first rate, with everything that you could ask for. Lots of valets and golf carts with comfortable padded seats, towels and tees. Plenty of air conditioned restrooms and water and ice machines on the course. A grass practice range is available with pitching, chipping and putting practice areas. The only let down when I went was no help with golf bags from the drop off area to the check in area
