We are so grateful for Bakersfield Swim Academy! When my son first started, he had a genuine fear of the water, and I honestly wasn’t sure how long it would take for him to feel comfortable. From day one, the instructors were incredibly patient, encouraging, and kind. They never rushed him and always made him feel safe while gently building his confidence. Over time, we watched his fear turn into excitement. Not only did he learn how to swim, but he also gained confidence in himself, which has been such a gift. The staff truly care about each child and create such a positive, welcoming environment. Thank you to everyone at Bakersfield Swim Academy for your dedication, encouragement, and the care you showed our family. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience, and we highly recommend them to any parent looking for swim lessons—especially if their child is nervous or afraid of the water!

Karis is not a nice girl !! I did not enjoy her as a teacher for my child’s class. Talking about nonsense that shouldn’t be around kids, private matters, explicated language. That is not right !! I should not have to be explaining to my kids at a young age what these absurd words are that are being used ! Please do better and find other teachers. Edit ; Now apparently my complaint is fraudulent. That is just insanely wrong to sit here and say that to someone. These types of things should be taken seriously. It is being said and brought to your attention for a reason. The people working for you are not who you think they are. Picking and choosing sides is professionally very wrong. Dig a little deeper.

My son loves getting his swim lessons here. The facilities are nice and the tuition is reasonable. He really likes his instructor. Hey also sell swimming equipment here if your child needs something. Great experience for your child.

We were at a different swimming school for a year and when we brought our son to this academy, they had him doing things that they never did at the other place. He’s only been here for a month and he has progressed so much. We truly love it. Coaches really pay close attention to his personal level and not just apply all across the board technique. Highly recommend!

We started swim lessons here to keep up swim skills and water safety for our two boys since we have moved and won't have as easy access to a pool anymore. Everyone here had been so kind and amazing. I have taken up a good portion of the girls time trying to figure out schedules to get the boys in 2x week and work around my schedule and they've been nothing but gracious and patient with me. Our boys are very familiar with the water and love swimming, but our middle was nervous about swim lessons and didnt want to go. I was fully prepared to have to drag him back next week, but the boys love their teacher after just one class and "Can't wait to come back with Mr. Cooper". So glad we picked BSA!
