The courts are great, but the facility management is a total mess. The actual badminton courts here are high quality and great to play on—good matting and okay lighting. Unfortunately, the rest of the facility is poorly managed and cluttered. The inner area right beside the courts is being used as a random storage zone. There is an indoor workout bike, a bunch of dumbbells, and shuttle-collecting tools (presumably the coaches') just left lying around, along with other random items. It looks messy and takes up space. Worse though, is the restroom. It is consistently dirty, smells terrible, and never has toilet paper—which is honestly insane for a paid sports facility. Great place if you only care about the court quality, but management seriously needs to organize the gear and maintain basic hygiene.

I would not recommend this place for advanced or professional players. The courts are very often occupied for training sessions, so members sometimes have to wait a long time to play. Even when courts are available, the court rotation system does not seem to be managed fairly or consistently. There are also groups that keep rotating among themselves on certain courts, making it difficult for others to get a chance to play, and this issue does not appear to be addressed. There are also maintenance issues that should be improved. Some courts become wet during rainy weather, the lighting in certain courts is poor, and a few floor mats appear damaged. In addition, the AC vents above some courts affect gameplay and cause the birdies to move unpredictably. Another important point is the membership cancellation policy. I was informed only later that cancellations require a 30-day notice, which was not clearly explained during signup or through email communication. Because of this, I ended up paying for an additional month. I would strongly recommend asking about all policies and membership terms clearly before signing up.

Too expensive for an avg court set up. Floors are broken in some courts , some courts can ac vents on top of it causing Birdies to fly, there are pillars in between the courts which are very uncomfortable etc. not worth paying. Lighting is ackward too.

Be extremely careful not to leave any personal belongings here. My friend accidentally left my fleece jacket behind, and instead of putting it in a lost and found, the staff used it as a mop to soak up rainwater on the court. Completely unprofessional and disrespectful of customers' property.

Austin Badminton offers 9 courts, though 3-4 are often reserved for kids’ training classes. It’s quiet between 4-6 PM, with more players arriving around 7 PM. While the lighting is dim, the facility overall provides a great space for playing.
