Tennis in the United States is played on three kinds of places: public park courts run by a city or county, member clubs and country clubs with their own pros and leagues, and commercial tennis centers that sell court time by the hour. Public courts are usually free and first come, first served, with a posted limit (often 60-90 minutes when others are waiting); busier cities run online reservation systems with a small fee and a permit for the season. Indoor courts are rented by the hour and booked days ahead in winter. Most facilities are hard courts; clay is common in the Southeast and at private clubs, and grass is rare. Lights extend play into the evening at many parks, sometimes with a coin or app-operated switch.

Hours are published for 4 days a week. The most common schedule is Open 24 hours. Note that it does not open on Friday, Saturday, Sunday. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. Riverside is in California, on the West Coast, where the climate ranges from foggy coast to hot inland valleys, wildfire season can affect air quality in late summer, and traffic is the main thing to plan around. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Riverside follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

I love the staff, everyone is happy and smiling whenever I go. The lifeguards are very nice and are constantly scanning the pool. They keep the pool safe and fun for everyone and they all deserve raises.

Hi everyone, if anyone remembers Don the Manager at this pool back in 1986 can you leave a review here for me please or any of the Lifeguards or City of Riverside employees might be able to help out?Don retired 1986 and I can't remember his last name. This is Randy Busch, I was Lifeguard there a couple of years and 1986 also and loved it! If anyone I taught swimming lessons might read this, hello! I was also Lifeguard at Arlington High School 82,83 and 84 when I graduated. Thank you for any help, Randy
