I was there for a birthday party and witnessed a young child needing to be rescued from the lazy river and I was AMAZED by how fast the response was. The lifeguard jumped over a ledge and saved the child while a team of “I think” 6 life guards ran out to assist. The child was okay but as a mother myself of a 3 and 5 year old, that was so reassuring to see the response and care.

We take our daughter swimming here and just love this place! The pool is always clean and the life guards are alert and do such a great job of keeping an eye on all the people in the water. I also really really appreciate the janitorial staff for how clean they keep the family bathrooms. They’re always in there drying the floors before another family goes in. It’s so great for little kiddos who can easily slip. We are so grateful to live in a city that has spaces like Apex that are affordable and promote wellness.

I am writing to formally express my deep concern and disappointment regarding an experience my family and I had yesterday at the Apex Centre. My family of eight visited the indoor pool, looking forward to spending quality time together. Prior to arriving, we reviewed your website, which clearly states that outside food is permitted. Based on that information, we brought small, reasonable items for our children Gatorades, Lunchables, and chips. We also had crawfish, which we fully understand may not be allowed and were prepared to leave out. However, upon arrival, we were met by an older woman at the front desk who immediately told us we could not bring any food inside at all. Her approach was not only dismissive but also lacked any level of courtesy or willingness to help. She instructed us to go eat in our cars and, when we asked if we could simply eat outside instead, she told us no without offering any alternative solutions, such as suggesting a designated area or informing us of options like reserving a private space. This review is for the outdoor pool daily pass. I’ve brought my children, neighbors, and friends to enjoy the pool. The various depths and activities have been fantastic. The lifeguards are actively scanning for quiet issues so that’s huge. I’ve continued to return so clearly I recommend the pool. Be mindful accounts for resident pricing must be created ahead of time.

Absolutely ridiculously unsupervised kids all ages. Teenagers having slam dunk contests while little kids are running around in between everyone. Not a parent in sight, and the only employee looked to be sleeping at the door before you enter the gym. Not only was it unsafe but if an adult wanted to use the gym you had to be stuck with all the kids while the other side only had 3 kids using it for there paid practice. I paid to use this place and can’t. What a waste of money. You can drop your kid off at any age, dont even check them in and it’s a giant daycare. I didn’t pay for that. The parents are just as bad, they don’t care there kids are in danger. Especially don’t care that they are all over the machines and gym ruining it for everyone else.
