This is a really nice hotel and the staff is great. The location of this hotel is walkable and surrounded by shops and restaurants. However, the star of this review is the supervisor Michael! My daughter was carrying my book bag and we decided to hang out in the courtyard for a bit. We left the courtyard, went to dinner and I’d yet to realize my bag was missing. My little one left it outside. Michael located my backpack which had my entire livelihood in it!! He was able to identify us due to a screensaver on my MacBook. Omg talk about the feeling of shock and relief at the same time! Outside of locating my bag and putting it somewhere safe, Michael has been a pleasure. He gives of such a warm and welcoming energy. He deserves all the kudos!

I usually don't leave hotel reviews, but Aloft Jacksonville absolutely deserves one! The staff was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and accommodating, and they truly made all the difference. The hotel was quiet, very clean, and comfortable. The rooms are spacious, the pool is great, and the breakfast options, both to-go and made-to-order, were such a nice bonus. The location is also perfect and close to everything. I would absolutely stay here again next time I'm in the area!

Stayed at the aloft for one night on our way home from vacation. Booked through Priceline, although my husband is a Bonvoy member due to a better price. Arrived early around 2:15 The lady at the front desk rudely told me to come back that it was too early to check in. We left to go to the beach came back around 8 PM and was told by a different front desk associate that the hotel was overbooked and that they needed to move us to a nearby motel which was the Extended Stay America. When I said I had already paid through Priceline, and there is a big difference between an aloft and an extended stay, and who is going to refund me the difference she proceeded to tell me that someone had contacted me and that Priceline would be refunding my money, neither of which happened. My husband came in and said he was going to be contacting Marriott directly and suddenly, a room became available. This hotel has seen better days. Hallways were dirty. The room was filthy. Dirty shower and the floors were covered with hair and crumbs. Stained bedding. Not at all what I would expect at a Marriott property. In the morning we went to get breakfast. Their espresso machine was broken. They were out of vari
