I have been a loyal customer for 16 years and have regularly purchased firearms at this location. Last month there was confusion when I tried to purchased a firearm via Bread Pay. The firearm I tried to purchase didn’t go through and I didn’t receive an email confirming the purchase. So I tried a second time to purchase the firearm but I accidentally entered the wrong location. I had accidentally requested to purchase the firearm from the Vance Jackson location. My intention was to purchase from Northwest Loop 410. The Store Director, Christina Maese, was accusing me of being “suspicious” because I was purchasing the same firearm at two different locations. I informed her it was clearly a mistake. I let her know that I accidentally got the Academy addresses mixed up. I told her that I wanted to cancel order for the Vance Jackson location. I asked, “Why would I purchase two firearms that are the same at two different locations?” On Saturday May 9, 2026 I tried to purchased another firearm and my background was denied. Not to mention, I have a valid License to Carry permit. I was shocked and embarrassed. The reason I got denied was because Christina lied and said I had an attitu

I’m always surprised at how many things they have. Their clothes are a good price; some things are expensive but good quality, so they're worth it! They could clean the rug in the shoe department as I walk around in my socks looking for more shoes to try on but other then that there bathrooms are clean and everything else is well organized.

I can to this store to buy a Yeti Hopper M15, as I had previously tried to purchase it at the Potranco and 1604 store. The product was not available at that store and the associate told me that two weee available at the 410 and Military Drive store. Almost all the Yeti products are locked down, so I had to get help. There is a button nearby that is supposed to ask for associate help. That button at the 1604 and Potranco store worked great, as the associate came to help me in about two minutes. At this store, I clicked on the button, waited for about 1/2 hour, and no one showed up up. Finally want to the gun aisle and asked the associate their for help, he said he would send someone over. That didn’t happen. I finally saw an associate coming over, his name was Hazel, he said he would come back, and he didn’t. I walked back to the gym aisle, and saw that Hazel was walking out. He went through different aisles and didn’t come back to help me. I had to chase him down and whistled for him to come back and help me. Associate didn’t even apologize. He goes back to the gun associate to get the key to unlock the Yetis. He couldn’t unlock the Yetis, he then had to ask for help and got
